VOLUME 13
SUBMISSIONS
Theme: Global Solidarity & Indigenous resistance
Ft. Zine Submissions
Deadline: May 31, 2024
Bipan’s story begins with our founder Sol Natal, a Queer, disabled, Southern Native, and since our conception we have strived to centre as many voices as possible from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Our aim is to embrace every story within our community, but a common thread that weaves us all together is one of resistance. For our next issue, we want to highlight our connections to one another and the ways in which our resistances are all connected. More specifically, we want to focus on queer Indigenous resistance and what this means to all of you.
Consider the following prompts:
-
How does your ancestral love fuel your resistance as a Queer individual?
-
Share your perspective on centering love within your resistance. Reflect on how you center love in liberation and apply it within your community.
-
Explore your understanding of global Solidarity and its connection to your Queer identity. How does this influence the future you are fighting for?
For this issue we encourage submissions from all people worldwide! Queer Allies are encouraged to think about their roles in resistance and are welcome to submit as well.
